In a win for our members, we were able to negotiate to win a new roofing job for the Target in Springfield, Delaware County, this month. Our business representatives were able to negotiate the deal for our contractor, Belcher Roofing, replacing a non-union roofing contractor on the job. Thanks to the staff and managers for working out the details of this job and to our members for providing excellent service and craftsmanship to make this renovation happen!
Milton Budd, a Local 30 member of 39 years, donated pizza to the Atlantic County vaccine megasite. This was Milton’s way of thanking these health care workers for the essential job they’re doing to keep us safe and healthy. The AtlantiCare team, National Guard, FEMA, and ACCC Nursing all thanked Milton for his kind actions.
Our members have also roofed the Convention Center and many other AtlantiCare facilities. A safe building with roofing installed by trained professionals is critical for health care workers and other heroes to perform their jobs. We’re proud of the great work our members are doing in their communities each and every day.

Nicholas Stephenson, a member of Roofers Local 30, is laying more than shingles, shakes, and tiles. He is also laying his opponents flat out in the ring as a rising middleweight MMA fighter.
Nick is currently ranked 24th in the Pennsylvania Amateur Middleweights category, and 76th in the US Northeast Amateur Middleweights category. He currently holds a 1-1-0 Amateur MMA record.
